This 6-hour course is designed for students who have an interest in Investment Operations.  The course will introduce different positions within the operations department including Trade Support, Compliance, Derivative valuation, fund administration. We will also equip students with knowledge for interviews.

Session 1 – Derivative Valuation Analyst

 The first lecture will introduce the day-in-the-life of a derivative valuation analyst. The class will provide information on different types of derivatives, and the dual sourcing process using Reuters & Bloomberg.

 Session 2 – Investor Relations Specialist & Reporting Analyst

 This class will cover the responsibility and skillsets required for an Investor Relations and reporting analyst role.

Session 3 – Trade Support & Compliance

 This class will introduce students to the trade cycle and settlements. And provide students with insights on positions within the compliance field.

 We will touch base on the responsibilities as P&L analyst and performance analyst
