What You’ll Be Doing

You will be joining Capital Markets, OTC Operations

you’ll be closely overseeing the daily activity tasks related to the production and distribution of MTM client statements to counterparties and processing incoming and outgoing audit confirmation requests on OTC derivatives products. You will also provide support acting as a subject matter expert in the area of quantitative analysis of derivative markets: Interest Rates, Commodities, FXOptions, Equities. Driven by collective success, you will ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create accurate trade confirmations, daily marks and innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

  • You have a University degree with strong knowledge of mathematics/statistics or STEM disciplines, applied in a business context.

  • Training and mentorship – provide cross training and guidance in the execution of deliverables for other assigned resources. Adopt and share a mindset oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort. Develop and deploy formal training packages when rolling out new controls.

How You’ll Succeed

  • OTC Operations Exposure. Demonstrate strong knowledge of audit confirmations, MTM client statements, and familiarity with trade confirmations, settlements, reporting and relevant obligations. Act as a subject matter expert explaining the purpose and process, policies and procedures applicable. Create standards for capturing SLAs, identify and quantify impact, create paths for escalation, and track until full resolution.
  • Subject Matter Expertise. You must have previous exposure with OTC exotic options measuring the model risk and analyzing its mean features and price sensitivities. For example the model risk , interpretation of formulas that dictate the option cash settlement amount associated with cliquet options, barrier options, callable options, rainbow options and other structured products.
  • OTC Derivative Products Knowledge/Experience. Knowledge of the structure of derivatives transactions from both a theoretical and practical viewpoint as well as the basic finance principles that underlie them. You have OTC products knowledge across multiple asset classes, trade lifecycle events and related processes. You are aware of core regulation on the derivatives markets, deadlines imposed by industry regulations in confirming OTC Derivative transactions following specific and strict policies related, but not limited, to Dodd Frank, EMIR, SEC.
